80 of the kidnapped Bethel Baptist Secondary School students In Kaduna are still with their abductors as 28 of them were released Sunday morning.
Speaking to Voice of Liberty on the development, Reverend Joseph Hayab, Kaduna State chapter chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, said the freed 28 students would be reunited with their parents at the school premises.
He revealed that quite a number of the students before now escaped from the kidnappers den, while 80 are still in captivity, but they are hopeful that more would be released soon and eventually all the students.
Hayab thanked Nigerians for their prayers, moral and physical support, urging all to sustain the spirit till everyone in captivity regains their freedom.
It will be recalled that over a hundred students of the school were abducted twenty days ago at the school premises while two soldiers lost their lives trying to rescue them.
